April 12, Saturday of Lazarus

Orthros 8:30, Divine Liturgy, 9:30 AM.
- PTO “Palms & Pancakes” youth event follows the divine liturgy. Learn about the Raising of Lazarus, fold palms, and make lazarakia! Our GOYAns will assemble the Holy Friday luminaries (see flyer below). To offer help, contact our PTO at pto@anngoc.org
- You can pick up your pre-ordered tsoureki from our PTO.
- After the morning liturgy, the Philoptochos Altar Guild will clean and decorate the church proper for Palm Sunday. Any help is appreciated!
April 13, Palm Sunday

- Our youth will participate in the palms' blessing by re-enacting the young children's spreading palms on the road as Christ entered Jerusalem.
- Our Parish Council invites everyone to our Palm Sunday Family Luncheon (see flyer below).

- Our Philoptochos will dye the Easter Eggs.

The Holy Passion of Our Lord (twelve gospel lessons), Orthros of Great Friday, 7 PM.
April 18, Holy Friday

The Royal Hours of the Holy Passion, 10 AM.
- We will host a Holy Friday Youth Retreat starting at the Royal Hours of the Holy Passion and ending with the Vespers of Apokathelosis. We encourage all children in grades K-6 to join us in prayer, learning, and fun (see flyer below).
- For questions or to offer help, please contact Jacinda Ojeda at catechism@anngoc.org or Effie Patounas at hopejoy@anngoc.org.
- The church office, office@anngoc.org, can provide students and teachers with a Holy Friday School Release Letter upon request.
- We invite Sunday School Girls, 8-12 years old, to participate as Myrrh-bearers on Holy Friday afternoon and evening services (see flyer below).
- Our Philoptochos will decorate the Epitaphios.
- Our GOYAns will set up the luminaries for the Evening Service.

- Please bring your Paschal Basket with your favorite “breaking of the fast” food items to be blessed and shared after the midnight Anastasis /Resurrection Liturgy (see flyers below).
April 20, Great and Holy Pascha

Agape Vespers. Gospel reading in various languages, 11 AM.
- We will again proclaim the Holy Gospel in many languages at the 11 AM Agape Vespers, signifying the universal message of the resurrection! We invite all polyglots to participate by reading in the language of your choice from the Gospel of John, 20:19-25. For details and participation, please contact Maria Sandilos at mariasandilos@gmail.com.
- Easter Egg Hunt for children follows (see flyer below).
